Daily Life Quotation: If you have love you don't need to have anything else. If you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you do have.

If you have love you don't need to have anything else. If you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you do have.
- James M. Barrie

Have you ever felt as if you are so far behind in the human 'race' to success, power, wealth, prestige, beauty, and the like? Like no matter what you do, someone else is and will always be way ahead?

Or, have you ever wondered when you'll be able to afford that dream travel, vacation, home, car, notebook, SLR camera, phone, watch, home equipment, hair, bag, shoes, jewelry, clothes, makeup, etc.? Everytime you try to find extra funds for these things, a need always comes first? Like when are you ever going to really live and enjoy life?

One thing's for sure. You are not the only person feeling that.

However, a thought from someone who had experienced all that he wanted to experience in life:

I denied myself nothing my eyes desired;
I refused my heart no pleasure.
My heart took delight in all my work,
and this was the reward of all my labor.
Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done
and what I had toiled to achieve,
everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;
nothing was gained under the sun.
- Ecclesiastes 2:10-11

If you have long dreamed of something like getting a dream job, or a dream camera, or even a simple bag, and you eventually got it, how did you feel after some time? When the rush of getting what you wanted had vanished? A little something like that feeling above?

If you somehow cannot relate to any of this, how about asking yourself this: if you were to choose between loved ones, success, power, wealth, prestige, beauty, and you are allowed to choose only one in this lifetime, which would you choose?

My friends, choose well.
